photos.black and white

In this assignment I chose to take pictures of the topic black and white. I chose this topic because it was something easy to do and I didnt have muuch time to do it. In my favorite photo I took a picture the contrasted the dark and the light.

shutter:1/80, ISO:100, Aperture:f4

In this assignment I learned that you should try to take a photo that shows the contrast between black and white and not just a gray blob. It is difficult to do these so make sure your photo has a contrast between colors before you turn it in.

Photo That I Created

In this assignment I had to go around the school and take one good picture. I had to upload this photo into Photoshop and go on the Internet and find photos that I could put into my photo. In Photoshop we had to use many different tools to try to create this one great photo. I took a picture of the football field and then tried to create a bicycle that would actually happen in professional soccer.

In this assignment I learned that it is really hard to try to create this photo. It had to put a lot of time and effort in to try to create this one image. The hardest part was to try to put the images from the Internet into the main picture, but overall it was really fun.

Dykman Panos

In this assignment we had to take multiple pictures and the conjoin them into one big photo. I decided to take pictures of stuff that you would need a really wide view to see all of the photo. The last thing we had to do is put this images on photoshop so we could combine these photos together, using a tool called photomerge.

In this assignment I learned that it is more challenging to put together these photos than I thought. There are many rules you have to follow such as making sure that your camera is set into the manual setting and that when you are taking your pictures, that you dont overlap the pictures too much or too little.

photo.macro

In this assignment I chose the topic macro. I went outside and tried to capture pictures of things when I am up close. I took pictures of all sorts of things like tires, light-bulbs, and leafs. The pictures of flowers turned out the best. I spent the most time trying to capture pictures of flowers and leafs trying to reveal parts of these things.

Shutter: 1/80, ISO: 100, Aperture: 4

In this assignment I learned that to take pictures of the category of macro it is good to set your camera on the macro setting so you get higher quality pictures. I also learned that when you are taking pictures of macro, you want to make sure that others viewing your photo can tell what your photo is supposed to be of.

photo.nature.

In this assignment I decided to take pictures of nature-landscape. I went around my yard trying to capture photos of leaves, flowers, and tress. Some of these pictures turned out better if the sun was shining. After i was done taking my pictures I decided that the picture of the leave was the best of the photos.
    shutter: 1/80, aperture: 4, ISO: 100

In this assignment I learned that if you take your photos when the sun is out, they will turn out better. I also learned that during these photo assignments it is best to take a lot of photos so you can narrow them down and pick the best ones out.

For this assignment I had to take pictures of motion. I choose to take pictures of motion because in sports motion is easy to capture. My best picture is a picture of a ball bouncing. I like this picture because the ball shows motion-blur behind it.

      Shutter: 1/80 Aperture: f4 ISO: 100

In this assignment I learned how to get better at panning with a camera and how to capture good pictures of motion. When you are trying to capture motion you can try to take a photo that looks like it is frozen in the air or try to take a photo that shows motion-blur.

Car Touch-Up

In this assignment I learned how to edit with Photoshop. I also learned how to use the Clone Stamp tool to copy something and put it somewhere else. We also had to use the levels option to brighten or darken the image. The last thing I learned in last you can use the the paint brush to color in spots in the photo.

Motion Demo

In this demo, I learned how to pan with a camera. Panning helps you capture motion-blur in the background. I also learned that panning is difficult to do and is more complex than you would think. You have to change the shutter-speed in order to get that blurred effect in background. One last I learned was, when you are panning you might have to change the aperture settings because when you decrease your shutter-speed your is going to turn out brighter.

First Photo Assignment

For my first photo assignment I am choosing motion. I play of sports and ride in the car a lot, so it will easy to capture pictures of motion. I am going to try a capture a picture of my brother swinging a baseball bat or take a picture while riding in my mom's car.

Here a some examples of pictures showing motion:

These photos inspire because these photos show motion-blur and in some of my photos I am going to try to use motion-blur. To show motion-blur I am going to ride in my moms car and take a picture out of the window.
